We use the tool for real work — coding, writing, designing — for at least 7-14 days before writing a review. We don't rank based on feature lists or marketing claims.
Most tools we test are purchased with our own funds, not free review copies. We disclose when a tool is provided for free.
Every review includes a "Where it falls short" section. We don't publish 5-star-only reviews — no tool is perfect.
