Deep Angel is an experimental AI project from MIT Media Lab that automatically removes objects from videos. Visit the project website to try it; no account needed.
Visit Deep AngelThis is a research demo with slower processing and queue limits. Avoid North American peak hours (late night Beijing time) for faster response.
Click upload to select a local image or short video (recommend < 10MB, < 30 seconds). The system auto-detects removable objects and marks them with bounding boxes.
Images with simple backgrounds and clear subjects have higher recognition accuracy. Small objects in complex backgrounds may be misidentified.
Click on detected objects you want to remove (e.g., pedestrians, vehicles, poles). After confirming, click Process; the AI uses a generative model to fill the removed area.
Removing multiple objects at once reduces fill quality. Process in batches of 1-2 objects for more natural results.
