Go to Sign UpIn Dashboard, click "+ Channel" to connect Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook, TikTok, Pinterest, etc. Set a posting schedule per channel (e.g. Mon-Fri 9am, 12pm, 6pm); Buffer auto-posts from the queue.
Set "Timezone" to your audience's location, not yours — if your audience is in the US, schedule in US Eastern time.
In Composer, click "AI Assistant" to: generate post ideas, rewrite copy, shorten long text, or generate hashtags. Enter a topic description; AI generates 5-10 versions based on best practices.
Use "Start Page" to create a Link-in-bio page (like Linktree) aggregating all social links and latest content — free feature.
In Analytics, view follower growth, engagement rates, top posts, and best posting times per channel. In Team module, invite members with roles (admin, editor, contributor) and set approval workflows.
Use "Approval Workflow" to require admin approval before drafts go live — prevents low-quality content from publishing, especially for brand accounts.
